Mariana Bracic began her legal career in 1994 at a prominent Bay Street law firm advising clients on employment law issues. Six years later, she became Advisory Counsel with the Law Society of Upper Canada, the regulator of all the lawyers in the province. As Advisory Counsel, she was responsible for ensuring the highest standards for Ontario lawyers in ethics and competence.

In 2003, Ms Bracic opened MBC Legal, a boutique employment law firm and in 2016, in response to overwhelming client demand MBC Brokerage.

An honours graduate in political science from the University of Toronto, Ms Bracic graduated from Queen's University Law School where she ranked first in her class in Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure and Remedies. She has been entrusted with teaching tomorrow’s lawyers, having taught both Professional Responsibility and Civil Litigation at the Bar Admission Course. She is frequently asked to be a keynote speaker for continuing education programs and has guest lectured at Ontario law schools.
