Irv started his career in retail banking after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1977. He went on to obtain his MBA at the Rotman School of Management in 1987 and moved into Commercial Banking. Over the next 16 years, Irv took progressively more senior Commercial Banking positions at Schedule II banks eventually becoming an Assistant Vice President. In the booming 80’s he also spent some time in venture capital. In 2003, Irv was appointed Senior Regional Manager at Scotiabank where he was responsible for marketing and coordinating the bank's Scotia Professional Plan in the GTA. In this capacity, Irv assisted dentists, doctors, optometrists and veterinarians to efficiently run and grow their professional practices, open new practices and transition in and out of existing practices. He is well connected in the professional industries and enjoys connecting his clients with the other experts who can assist them to manage and grow a successful practice.
